{"id":36458,"date":"2019-06-11T09:57:09","date_gmt":"2019-06-11T07:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/?p=36458"},"modified":"2025-02-20T11:33:55","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T10:33:55","slug":"oboe-hobojo-op-21-francisco-jose-valero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/de\/oboe-hobojo-op-21-francisco-jose-valero\/","title":{"rendered":"New work for oboe &#8222;Hobojo Op. 21&#8220; &#8211; Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero Castells"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>New work for oboe &#8222;Hobojo Op. 21&#8220; &#8211; Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero Castells.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&#8222;Hobojo Op. 21&#8220; &#8211; Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero Castells.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><i>Comment.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">This composition, \u201cHobojo Op. 21\u201d, is dedicated to all students who have attended my oboe classes over 30 years in which I have been teaching at the CSMM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Fibonacci sequence has been used in this composition as the inspiration element with the aim of obtaining the germ of it.<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-36436\" src=\"http:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-1024x306.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1020\" height=\"305\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-1024x306.png 1024w, https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-600x179.png 600w, https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-300x90.png 300w, https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-768x230.png 768w, https:\/\/eg-reeds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/valero-oboe-510x153.png 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Then, a section appears in which students, who have studied with me, have taken part, also, students who are studying with me as of today (63). Their contribution consisted in composing and recording their names to take part of the composition in an active way; 27 students have participated in this process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">At the end of this section, a short space has been given to the player to include his name and surname in the composition, if it is his wish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">As a final section, there is a Cadence that incorporates, as a summary, a set of three previous sections. The cadence is formed by three elements, two of them are a tribute as an ostinato (theme B-A-C-H and the note B of the Berio \u201cSequenza VII\u201d). The third one corresponds to the Fibonacci scale. Small sections are articulated on these elements, as one of the whole composition. As the &#8222;last task&#8220;, the existence of a message hidden in the cadence has to be mentioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hobojo, Op. 21\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7cqMgdh7B4E?start=5&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"title style-scope ytd-video-primary-info-renderer\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Hobojo, Op. 21 for oboe and electronics &#8211; Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero oboe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero Castells.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Francisco Jos\u00e9 Valero Castells<\/strong> (Silla, 1970). He started his studies at the age of seven, shortly after he registered in the Superior School of Music in Valencia, where he studied the oboe with Mr. Francisco Salanova, finishing his higher level studies when he was 16 years of age with the highest qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes of Honour for the end of the Elementary, Intermediate and Superior Grades of Oboe and Musical Theory, Prize \u201cMercedes Mass\u00ed\u201d and too receiving a scholarship from the \u201cSantiago Lope Foundation\u201d. Also, the Second Prize in the \u201cJuventudes Musicales de Espa\u00f1a\u201d national competition. In this conservatory also get titles of Piano, Choir Conducting and Composition. Has subsequently expanded studies with teachers such as Thomas Inderm\u00fchle, L. Koch, J. de Lancie, P. Dombrecht, among others.<\/p>\n<p>He has participated on the Municipal Orchestra of Valencia, RTVE Orchestra, Orchestra of the Conservatory of Valencia, JONDE, Orchestra Region of Murcia, OSRM, Moscow Virtuosi, Beethovenhall Bonn, OBC, etc, several of which he has performed as a soloist. He has made recordings with the Chamber Orchestra of Murcia, JONDE, Chamber Orchestra and the University Choir of Murcia, OSRM and the group \u201cConcertus Novo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He has composed several works, some of them performed in the Auditorium and Congress Centre of Murcia, National Auditorium (Madrid), Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, Auditorium SGAE, and \u201cPalau de la M\u00fasica\u201d in Valencia.
