ABSTRACT

After knowing that among students of woodwind instruments of the initial courses does not exist, in a generalized way, an efficient respiratory model and a control of the airflow at the beginning of their learning, this communication presents a proposal of intervention to be implemented in a way prior to the beginning of the study of woodwind instruments in music schools and conservatories. The objective of the same is to ensure that, prior to the beginning of the study of the instrument, you learn to use the body correctly, the abdominal breathing and to control the airflow, thus allowing the possibility of carrying out, later, a learning of the efficient instrument and free of basic problems.
