👋🎶 - 🇬🇧 ✅ 3 oboist tips to start the new term on the right foot Autumn is a great time to set new goals and organize your practice routine. Here are my three tips: 1️⃣ Start with long notes. They are the foundation of your sound and a great way to work on breathing, intonation and control. 2️⃣ Record yourself once a week. Listening to yourself from the outside can completely change the way you practise. 3️⃣ Choose your reeds in advance. Do you have a concert or audition coming up? Mark it on your calendar and start testing your reeds well in advance, not the day before. 👉 Would you add a fourth tip? Let me know in the comments.
