About Clara Dent.

Clara Dent was born in Berlin. She began her oboe studies with Arthur Jensen at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg and completed them with Günther Passin at the Hochschule für Musik in Munich where she received her Master-Diploma. She has won a number of international music competitions: among them the ARD-Competition in Munich and the Geneva Competition as well as the international Advancement Price of the Kulturvereinigung in Munich. She has been soloist with many famous orchestras, among which are the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Rundfunk-Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin, Polnische Kammerphilharmonie, Bach Collegium München, Camerata Academica Salzburg, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester and many others. As chamber music soloist she has taken part in various Festivals through all of Europe, including the Berliner Festwochen, Bach-Festwochen in Thun, Kammermusikfestival in Maribor and the Festival of Schloß Elmau. She has been Solo Oboist of the Rundfunk-Sinfonie-Orchestra Berlin since 1999.
